Our family-friendly, FREE live theatre performances aim to connect with the community and create a sense of belonging. We provide professional, paid work to professional, local and student artists, feed local theatres, and integrate social time into our shows to foster connections within our loving community. Beks Roen
Founder, Fight Director, Producing/Managing Director
Where there is a sword to be swung, song to be sung, or tale to be spun, you’re sure to find Beks Roen. Also known as “the sword-wielding chaos goblin,” they're an actor-combatant, fight director, writer/producer, and singer/musician based in Indiana. Focusing on queer performance, stage combat, and Shakespeare, Beks has worked with Great Lakes Theater, Purdue Theatre, the Hoosier Shakespeare Festival, the Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette, the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, and more. Roen’s plays are available on NPX, and his poetry is published in Querencia Press, Beyond the Veil Press, Anodyne Magazine and more. They’ve published five articles in Phi Beta Kappa’s The Key Reporter. Level 2 actor-combatant with Dueling Arts International. Double B.A. in Creative Writing and Acting from Purdue University.
